Job Description
The Job Mission
As a Resource Officer, you support all aspects of workforce planning and deployment.Your future team drives the delivery of engineering excellence through resourcing.This role offers broad exposure to HR, project delivery, and customer support.
️ Coordinate onboarding processes and conduct new starter inductions️ Maintain and update the resource plan across active and future projects️ Schedule interviews and support recruitment for project requirements️ Manage offboarding tasks, including asset and access recovery️ Track and maintain data including headcount, skills, and training records️ Prepare CVs and support proposal responses to customer resourcing needs️ Assist with monthly reporting and BRM administration activities️ Build strong internal relationships across delivery, HR, and management teams
QualificationsEssential Skills
Minimum UK qualification level 3 or equivalent Strong attention to detail and process discipline Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Experience working collaboratively in a team environment Organised with ability to manage multiple tasks Understanding of resourcing, recruitment, and utilisation principles Comfortable working in admin-heavy or deadline-driven environments Positive, solution-focused attitude and resilience under pressure
Desired Skills
Prior experience as Resource Admin, Scheduler, or HR Officer Exposure to engineering sectors (e.g. nuclear, aerospace, utilities) Familiarity with CV coordination or bid support work Willingness to work towards a CIPD qualification Knowledge of training and development processes
