Driver Hire Carlisle are recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver on behalf of one of our long-standing clients in Aspatria. We supply this client all year round and have already made several permanent placements - offering excellent long-term prospects for the right person.
The role will begin with manual labour for the first couple of weeks, before moving into full forklift duties, so a hands-on approach is important.
Key Details:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00
Pay: £14.34 per hour (holiday pay included)
Overtime: Paid at a premium after 48 hours
Future shift pattern: May switch to a 4 on 4 off rota (2 days, 2 nights)- Great potential for permanent employment
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Willing to carry out manual work during the initial period
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
- Strong attitude to health & safety and teamwork
