Binnies, an RSK company, is seeking experienced Chartered Engineers to join our esteemed Flood, Coast & Maritime team. With multiple UK locations, including Chester, Swansea, Birmingham, Bristol, and Bradford-on-Avon, you'll work on diverse flood and coastal projects. This role offers leadership opportunities in multidisciplinary teams and impactful projects for clients such as Natural Resources Wales, the Environment Agency, and local authorities. 1. Lead technical delivery of flood risk management, coastal adaptation, and water resource projects.


2. Manage multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality deliverables, ensuring they meet client specifications, budgets, and schedules.


3. Mentor junior engineers and graduates towards professional qualifications.


4. Collaborate with Delivery and Project Managers for smooth project execution and commercial success.


5. Support innovative solutions for river restoration, drainage, and sustainable infrastructure.


6. Handle projects with contract values from £50k to £500k.


7. Possess a background in Civil Engineering, Water & Environmental Management, or related fields.


8. Hold a professional engineering qualification with the ICE, CIWEM, or similar body.


9. Have experience in flood and coastal sector design and appraisal schemes.


10. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.


11. Experience in client and stakeholder engagement, with effective technical presentation skills.


12. Familiarity with NEC Professional Service Contracts (PSC) and project change management.


13. Experience developing business cases and options using FCERM Appraisal Guidance.


14. Focus on sustainable solutions supporting natural resource management and net zero goals.


15. Experience with site construction to enhance design buildability.
