As Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned breakdown repair service to the customer based throughout Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, South Wales and parts of Wiltshire and will be part of the on-call rota which consists of 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend in every 5.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar; be comfortable using mechanical hand tools and have experience of working on the service, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and have a basic understanding of hydraulics and fault finding on 12 & 24 volt electrics.

Previous experience of working on heavy vehicle plant / machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, compactors, bailers, access platforms, Telehandlers or similar beneficial, though not essential.
