Role Summary


The Senior / Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the commercial management of the projects assigned to them, working on site and in the office they will manage change, manage subcontract payments, monthly applications, CVR’s and commercial risk management, financial project reporting, all other contractual administration, required to provide a robust commercial performance of projects under their control. The team is looking for someone with disputes and adjudication experience.


What will you be doing?



  • Attending and reporting monthly to the Head of Commercial activities towards business goals

  • Implementing company procedures

  • All aspects of day-to-day management of the project.

  • Maintaining the business cashflow forecast in conjunction with the sales, finance and managing directors

  • Commercial negotiation of contracts

  • Project positive cashflow and milestone creation

  • Project risk register creation and management

  • Financial management of projects budget and spend.

  • Project cashflow management

  • Review and approval of contract variations

  • Negotiating and agreeing terms and conditions with the supply chain



  • What are we looking for?



    • Solid experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or able to demonstrate good commercial acumen

    • A construction / civil engineering background

    • Can demonstrate working and interfacing with clients and key stakeholders on a project

    • Good track record of contract management

    • Strong understanding of budget and cashflow management

    • Project Programming Software skills

    • Experience with disputes and adjudication
