HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver - #1701667

M4 Recruitment are working with a leading waste management business who are looking for Class 2 drivers in Bristol and surrounding areas.

Along with driving, the job mayalso consist of manual handling, moving the bins when necessary and helping out occasionally.

Hours areMonday toFriday starting between 0600 and 0700 and finishing 14:30 or 15:30 respectively. Inductions are held every Tuesday and Wednesday for next 3 or 4 weeks.

At the moment we are also looking for afternoon shift 14:00 till 22:00

Pay is:

£15.25 basic

£22.88 overtime

£30.50 Sunday and Bank Holiday

After 12 weeks:

£16.67 basic

£25.01 overtime

£33.34 Sunday and Bank Holiday

The driver willbe responsible for vehicle checks, using mobile IT equipment and completing daily paperwork. Sometimes you might also be required to work in various other departments, e.g. Recycling, Garden Waste, etc.

Our ideal driver:

- will have a good experience of HGV Class 2 driving (at least 1 year ideally)

- have a good knowledge of tacho laws and regulations

- Happy withmanual labour if necessary

The contract is temporary but could become permanent following a qualifying period. Both ad hoc and ongoing shifts are available with immediate assessments.
