Senior Project Manager – Exhibitions & Events
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday), with 1-hour lunch
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering high-quality exhibition and event experiences? We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and take a lead role in managing bespoke exhibition stand & Experiential projects from concept to completion.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the company director, you’ll oversee and support one team member while managing multiple exhibition projects. This is a hands-on role requiring full accountability for project delivery, including liaising with clients, managing budgets, and coordinating internal teams and suppliers.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage custom-built exhibition stand projects
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from brief to onsite installation
- Control budgets and timelines with precision and confidence
- Ensure smooth production coordination and manage site activities when necessary
- Negotiate and place orders, handle production control, and support estimating (as needed)
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in exhibitions and events, with a focus on custom builds
- Strong project management skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Excellent client liaison, communication, and organisational abilities
- Proven background in budget control and supplier negotiation
- Manufacturing environment experience is an advantage
- A self-starter who thrives on responsibility and delivering results

- Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
- Discretionary annual pay review
- 22 days holiday per year plus public holidays (pro rata first year); includes a 3-day Christmas shutdown
- Government workplace pension scheme (3% employer contribution)
- Mileage reimbursement: 45p/mile up to 10,000 miles, 25p thereafter
