Qualified 12A/B Traffic Management Operatives – Chipping Sodbury

Our clients require Traffic Management Operatives to carry out 12A Installation, maintenance and removal of Temporary Traffic Management measures on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways for schemes incorporating contraflow operations and/or temporary road markings.

Due to the nature of the industry, each role requires a certain flexibility and must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as required.

Successful candidates for any role of TM Operative should have:

• Ability to work as part of a team


• Ability to carry out work to a high standard


• Good communication skills


• Good timekeeping skills


• Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours


• Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request


• Ability to always maintain Health and Safety standards


• A can-do and responsible attitude to work.

Applicants must:

• Hold a 12 A/B Lantra qualification


• Have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 points


• Minimum 1 year driving experience


• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test when required

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday, days or nights with some weekends and bank holidays when required.

Rate of Pay:

Up to £150 per shift to start with increased payments for weekend and bank holiday work.

These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:

• Accrued Holiday Pay from day one


• Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)


• Weekly Pay


• No umbrella payments or fees


• Only Tax and National Insurance deductions, which will be shown on your payslip.
