The college seeks a supportive and motivated Science Lecturer on a permanent contract. The role involves supporting students mainly in Biology and Chemistry, with experience in SEND and an empathetic approach to making a real difference in young people's lives. The successful candidate will have experience working in an SEN care environment and will go above and beyond to help students succeed, impacting their pass rates and progression to employment or higher education.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Science and relevant industry experience


• Be committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love of science


• Bring energy, creativity, and a collaborative approach


• Have knowledge of learning disabilities and/or special needs


• Be able to plan and review educational activities tailored to students' needs


• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
