Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Supervisor to join the team in our Bristol branch who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours: 7.30am–5pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12

Location: 109 Winterstoke Road, Ashton, Bristol, BS3 2NS

Key Responsibilities

This role will find you as the key point of contact for Tool Hire within this branch - supervising the team while driving the overall profitability of the department by developing great relationships with customers.

• Supervising the Tool Hire department in branch, overseeing all operational tasks as well as managing health and safety for you and your team
• Ensure that great relationships are developed with our customers, via phone, email and in person, and get to know our products and equipment to better assist customers
• Generating business with new and existing customers, managing KPI targets for your department
• Collaborate with the wider branch network to support customer requirements and business activities
• Be available to perform deliveries and collections of equipment for our customers, using a 3.5t vehicle
• Be available to perform any maintenance of the equipment we hire out (training will be provided)
• Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills And Experience

• Previous industry experience would be beneficial
• Strong sales experience, dealing with internal and external customers
• Leadership experience would also be beneficial to the role
• Full clean UK driving licence (manual transmission)
