Time 4 Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Temporary Project Planner to join a dynamic construction contractor in Bristol City Centre, who are a highly reputable market leader in new build and renovation of historic buildings into luxury hotels across the UK. Including their leisure facilities, offices, conference Facilities, restaurants and bars.We require an experienced Planner for 4 weeks start ASAP!!! You will be acting as Project Planner on this project and you will support the higher management team. You will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring the project is scheduled to be completed on time and within Budget. As project Planner you will be required to create detailed project plans, including sequencing activities, allocating resources, and monitoring progress against set timelines.Key Responsibilities as Project Planner
• Creating project schedules and using project management software to develop realistic timelines and schedules for construction projects. • Sequencing activities to determine the order in which tasks must be performed to ensure efficient and effective workflow. • Resource allocation to identify and allocate necessary resources, including manpower, equipment, materials, and finances, to each task. • Contingency planning: to anticipate potential delays or issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks. • Updating schedules: regularly update schedules based on project progress, changes, and new information, • Working with the project teams and collaborate with other professionals, such as estimators, engineers, architects, and surveyors, to ensure each project section is completed successfully. • Communicating with stakeholder to keep clients, contractors, and subcontractors informed about project progress and potential issues. • Presenting plans – to present project schedules and progress updates at project meetings. • Monitoring and Control:• Tracking and monitor project progress against the established schedule and identify any deviations or delays. • Reporting progress, create forecasts and progress reports to keep stakeholders informed about project status. • Risk Management.• They identify and manage project risks, such as weather delays, material shortages, or unexpected issues. • Taking corrective action:• Planners implement corrective actions to address delays or issues and keep the project on track.
Certificates required for this role:Bachelor’s degree (Preferable but not essential) CSCS
Experience required: To be successful in this role is it vital you have worked on construction projects – ideally hotels, student accommodation or similar.
Benefits• Temporary Role – • 4 Weeks work to start ASAP!! • Day rate £250 to £300 per day • Weekly Pay• Location - Bristol City Centre
