Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive issues across the hospital site
- Provide expert support for breakdowns and technical faults
- Mentor and support on-site Technicians and Engineering Assistants
- Offer technical advice to local hospital management when required
- Promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Maintain high levels of workmanship and contribute to a strong team culture
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3, ONC or City & Guilds Part 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Completed a time-served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
- Valid CSCS or ECS card (depending on trade discipline)
- Willingness to act as Authorised Person (AP) and Responsible Person (RP) for Medgas
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and ACOPs, including L8 (Legionella)
- Confident in fault finding and interpreting technical drawings
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
