From 11 UK sites, our team of nearly 1,000 people delivers unique capabilities across space, air, land, sea and cyber for military, security and commercial customers across the UK and worldwide.


L3Harris in Bristol/Burgess Hill/Barrow provides warship automation systems through control and simulation solutions that are in service on Albion Class Landing Platform Docks and Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers. More systems are being developed and delivered for Type 26 and Type 31 Frigates.

What the role will involve


The responsibilities of your role will include the following:



  • Generate financial reporting packages and provide counsel to program managers on variances

  • Baseline development and maintenance, performance management and estimate at complete development and analysis

  • Implement, monitor, report and analyse program budget and / or schedule

  • Perform earned value management including implementation, maintenance, reporting and analysis

  • Organise cost and / or schedule date for monthly program reviews

  • Prepare and monitor funding plans labour and subcontract / material / ODC forecast plans

  • Complete analyse date for monthly forecast review including orders, sales, operating income and cash

  • Prepare ETC / EAC estimates from program staff input

  • Participate in presentations and group discussions at internal and external financial / schedule meetings

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the organisation to maintain a positive and productive work environment


What you’ll bring


The role requires the following experience and skills:



  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

  • Part qualified or foundation level ACCA or CIMA

  • Previous finance business partnering experience

  • Advanced user of MS Office Suite including Excel

  • Proactive approach to problem solving
