TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It operates as a national network of TPS Centres with a workforce of approximately 1,500 employees. Launched nationally in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the expansion of Centres across the country.


What will you be doing?


  • Working with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre.

  • Achieving personal KPIs and revenue targets with target customers.

  • Accurately identifying parts to meet customer requirements.

  • Utilising product promotions effectively to meet specific targets.

  • Identifying and leveraging potential sales opportunities within the customer base.

  • Maintaining product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.

  • Building strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.

  • Providing excellent customer service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice.

  • Providing timely communication regarding credit status.

  • Supporting the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent customer service.

  • Collaborating with the Sales Manager and others to meet sales targets and ensure a cohesive sales approach.

  • Handling incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPI guidelines, using the approved greeting.

  • Using all systems accurately to search and order parts.

  • Completing documentation promptly and accurately.

  • Managing cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines in the Operations Manual.


What are we looking for?


  • A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.

  • Confident and capable communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments.

  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders.

  • A team player with drive and determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

  • IT literate, preferably with good knowledge of MS Excel.

  • A passion for the automotive industry.
