Do you have what it takes to be a Security Concierge with SGS?

This position is a front-line, proactive role focused on customer interaction to ensure effective delivery of site-based security operations. You will act in the best interests of our client and customers at all times, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with the assignment instructions and the standards agreed with clients.


Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday


Rate of Pay:

£14.00 per hour


This is a customer-facing role, and we are seeking candidates who:



  • Maintain safe and secure environments, protecting people, property, and assets. Identify threats and vulnerabilities, taking appropriate action to mitigate them.

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers entering the building. Demonstrate through presence and communication that the space is controlled and managed.

  • Engage with customers to assist in directing them and establishing their legitimate purpose for being in the building.

  • Promote a positive security culture at all times.


To work with us, you will need to be confident, articulate, and communicate well both orally and in writing. Although demanding, a Security Concierge role with SGS will allow you to demonstrate your exemplary customer service skills while engaging with customers, clients, and visitors throughout each shift, remaining alert to security issues and ensuring everyone's safety.


Essential Skills:

  • Must hold a valid SIA - Security Guarding license at a minimum.

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

  • Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full/part-time education during that period.


Please note that this role may involve standing for long periods.
