Salary:£55,000 to £70,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience

About the Role
This opportunity has arisen from our ongoing success and growth in the renewable energy sector. We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer.
As part of the Projects Team, you will be responsible for providing exemplar project management throughout the project life cycle in line with Powersystems' strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exemplar project management throughout the project life cycle ensuring project goals and customer expectations are met.
- Manage, mentor and coach project engineers, providing advice and guidance from concept to completion.
- Organise and attend all project briefings and meetings with stakeholders.
- Deliver the commercial and financial goals of projects, including budget planning, procurement, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure project compliance with all health and safety regulations, producing RAMs and conducting audits.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
- Support the design and engineering teams to produce layouts, cable schedules, testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Organise logistics of materials and equipment.
- Provide support across all business functions on compliance and standards.
- Manage interfaces between Powersystems, clients, and third-party engineers.
- Uphold a professional image and proactively improve services and efficiency.
- Demonstrate the Companys core Principles: Health, Safety and Well-being, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership, and Proactive.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Minimum 5 years experience of project management in the electrical contracting or utility industry.
- Proven commitment to project success.
- Excellent communicator with strong client and contractor management skills.
- Commercial management of projects between £1-10 Million.
- Excellent planning and ability to anticipate project needs.
- Degree or HND in Project Management, ideally with HV systems experience.
- Experience managing large teams.
- Professional registration with the IET at IENG / CENG level (or working towards).
- Strong organisational, IT (MS Office), and report writing skills.
- Adaptable, resilient, proactive, willing to travel, and holds a full UK driving licence.
