Job Description

At ALTEN, we are at the forefront of innovation, partnering with world-renowned aerospace companies to drive cutting-edge engineering solutions. We are looking for a Systems Engineer – Fuel Systems to join our team and support exciting aerospace projects.

Your Role:

As a Systems Engineer specialising in Fuel Systems, you will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of advanced aerospace systems. You will work within a dynamic team, applying your expertise in fluid mechanics, controls, and indication systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Conducting system requirements analysis, architecture design, and integration activities for fuel systems in aerospace applications.
  • Leading verification and validation processes to ensure system functionality meets industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Supporting aerospace certification processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Performing system safety analysis and reliability engineering to assess and enhance system performance and dependability.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • A degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong technical background in fuel systems, fluid mechanics, control systems, and indication technologies.
  • Proficiency in DOORS (required), with experience in FloMaster being highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of aerospace certification processes and experience with system safety analysis and reliability engineering.
