Job description

A leading domestic retrofit specialist is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their growing team. Covering the South West of England, South Wales, this is an excellent opportunity to bring your technical expertise to a company passionate about delivering safe, sustainable homes across the UK.

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing asbestos within domestic properties, providing professional advice on its management or removal, and producing clear, high-quality reports for a range of clients.

You’ll be joining a company committed to high standards, client care, and ensuring that every retrofit project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct asbestos surveys across domestic housing stock, ensuring full compliance with industry guidelines.
• Collect samples for bulk analysis and produce detailed, accurate reports.
• Provide practical advice on asbestos management, removal, or containment.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to support project planning and risk management.
• Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• BOHS P402 qualification or RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying.
• Previous experience carrying out a range of asbestos surveys (management, refurbishment, demolition).
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and HSG264: Asbestos: The Survey Guide.
• Excellent report writing skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A proactive, professional approach to health and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
