Company - National HVAC Installation and Service Provider

Location - Bristol (part office based and home based)

Package - £35k - £45k (35 hrs per week Mon – Fri) with a £3k bonus, healthcare, dental, private pension, up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays, gym - social club - retail incentive discounts.

Candidate - Air Conditioning Engineer, working with the main HVAC manufacturer systems, whether install or service, ideally air conditioning and refrigeration qualifications and manufacturer training OR Mechanical Engineer within Building Services / Built Environment. IT skills and the ability to make calculations on volume, pressures, loads etc are essential. It will be of great interest if you can actually also design and plan HVAC system layouts accurately. Training given.

The Role

Leading national provider of HVAC project installations and service contracts seeks a part office and home based Project Engineer to oversee and advise on projects and contracts using the main global air conditioning manufacturers. This role offers the next step in your HVAC career in getting off the tools acting in an advisory capacity rather than being out on the road everyday, doing overtime and call outs.

Experience Required

You will be a successful and knowledgeable HVAC install or service engineer that is looking to progress your career and further advance your air conditioning knowledge by becoming an air conditioning Project Engineer. If you are a graduate building services engineer or mechancial engineer working within the built environment then please still apply. The main brand name HVAC, chiller and commercial heat pump manufacturers are both installed and serviced so hands on experience, combined with refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications and manufacturer training are ideal to run the projects. As this role is part office and home based you must have good communications and IT skills. Furthermore it will be an advantage if you can design and plan HVAC systems and make the necessary calculations, such as volume, load, heat loss, pipe sizing etc

The Package

Initial indications by the client are a base package range for the Technical Engineer of between £35,000 and £45,000 with a £4k bonus although there may be some further flexibility depending on your experience and suitability for the position. You will also receive health care, dental insurance, pension scheme and sports social club scheme.
