Private Client Associate (4+ PQE) | Chichester, West Sussex

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked team in Chichester, forming part of a highly regarded and nationally recognised law firm.
This is a strategic Associate-level hire, ideal for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years' PQE. You’ll be joining a collaborative and expert team, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on a wide range of complex and rewarding matters.
The Role:
As an Associate in this leading team, you’ll work alongside respected experts in the field, advising on a broad spectrum of private client work, including:
- Estate and succession planning with a strong emphasis on tax and wealth structuring
- Creation and administration of lifetime and testamentary trusts
- Estate administration and post-death planning, including deeds of variation
- Inheritance tax planning and trust taxation advice
- Drafting bespoke wills, LPAs, and managing probate work
- Working closely with colleagues across departments and liaising with external advisors
- Supporting business development activity and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years’ PQE in private client law
- Proven experience in high-value and complex wills, trusts, and estate planning matters
- Solid technical knowledge of inheritance tax and trust taxation
- Commercially aware and confident working collaboratively across disciplines
- Approachable, empathetic, and capable of building trusted client relationships
- Enthusiastic about mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the ongoing growth of the team
- Local connections in West Sussex would be a distinct advantage
