This is an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of sustainable mobility, supporting the test, validation, and development of electric motors and drive units within a highly innovative environment.

Working closely with a dynamic engineering team, you will take a hands-on approach to motor testing using in-house dynamic equipment, supporting system validation and prototyping activities. This role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a tangible impact on products that are shaping the future of transport.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of motor tests including torque, thermal, drag and EMF testing. This includes the assembly of test equipment and rigs, monitoring of results, and supporting fault analysis. You'll work from engineering drawings and test specifications, following defined processes to ensure robust and reliable test outcomes. You will also be involved in interpreting data, creating reports, and supporting development teams with prototype feedback and engineering insight.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a hands-on testing environment, ideally within R&D, EV, or aerospace sectors. A strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, fault analysis methods, and testing procedures is essential. You’ll need to be confident in working from engineering drawings, with experience using data tools like Excel or Python for report generation. A formal qualification such as HNC, HND or a degree in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering would be highly beneficial.

You should be practical, detail-oriented, and possess good assembly and mechanical skills. Flexibility and a proactive mindset are key to thriving in this fast-paced, agile company environment.

What’s on Offer?

With an offer a competitive salary based on your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Flexible working hours and early Friday finishes

  • Private health insurance (single cover)

  • Annual company bonus (performance-based)

  • Pension enrolment

  • Free on-site parking with access to discounted EV charging

Why Join?

This is your chance to work in a rapidly growing, forward-thinking company that's shaping the future of electric propulsion. You’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects in a supportive, collaborative environment that values innovation and technical excellence. With great potential for career growth, you’ll play a key role in influencing product performance and development.

Ready to Make an Impact?
