Chartered Building Surveyor – Bristol, UK


Our client, a forward-thinking building surveying consultancy based in Bristol, is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals and those with a solid background in building surveying who are eager to develop their careers in a supportive and dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage a diverse portfolio of building surveying projects, from initial assessments to final reporting

  • Provide expert advice on building regulations, defect diagnosis, and remedial solutions

  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective outcomes

  • Ensure all projects comply with RICS standards and industry best practices

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and services


Essential Criteria:



  • Relevant building surveying experience – the level of experience is flexible, so all candidates with a strong background in building surveying are encouraged to apply

  • RICS chartered status or the drive and capability to achieve chartership

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships

  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to delivering quality results
