The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Building Surveyor to join our expanding team. You will:

  • Conduct Type 2 and Type 3 Residential Building Surveys on a variety of residential properties, providing clear, detailed, and impartial reports to clients.
  • Conduct mortgage valuations
  • Advise clients on property condition, urgent repairs, potential risks, and estimated costs, ensuring they make informed home-buying decisions.
  • Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and solicitors as required, maintaining our reputation for outstanding service.
  • Enjoy flexibility in your working location, schedule, and workload – ideal for those seeking autonomy and work–life balance.

About You

  • AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualified, with at least one year of post-qualification experience in residential surveying.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering RICS Level 2 and Level 3 surveys, with a strong understanding of current building regulations and property defects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your own workload effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within your chosen patch.
