Job Role: Applications Engineer (Field-Based)
Location: Field-based role with travel across the UK and Europe as needed
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Including bonus for project completions

A leading CNC machinery company is looking for skilled Applications Engineers to join their team. This field-based role will require travel across the UK and Europe, depending on project needs, and flexibility is key
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide machine set-up, prove-out, and operator training within your designated region and occasionally across Europe
* Deliver expert technical support to customers, dealers, and sales teams, including machine demonstrations and programming assistance
* Prepare machining methods and cycle time estimates, ensuring efficiency and optimal performance
* Support machine installations at customer sites and company showrooms
* Offer remote and on-site troubleshooting, after-sales support, and technical advice
* Collaborate with international dealer networks and attend overseas training as necessary
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in an applications engineering or similar role
* Comprehensive knowledge of metal cutting processes and machinery operation
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
