Interim Finance Project Manager - #1308693

Interim Finance Project Manager for a Local Authority near Bristol £350 – £450 per day

This role is 6 months potentially longer and could be 3 /4 days a week dependent on experience, home or office based dependent on candidates preference but some office presence needed.

As an organization, my client is looking to set up a Corporate Landlord Model with the main purpose of the role of centralizing resources, rationalizing staffing and ensuring compliance is up to date so as to get a better grip on finances and see where costs are being incurred.

As the finance team is so busy currently they are looking at external resource to give the project the full support it requires. Some key outputs for the assignment would be:

• Centralisation of property budgets associated with the establishment of a new Corporate Landlord Model.
• Set up recharging mechanisms where required for specific trading accounts or services funded by ringfenced grant.
• Providing financial support to the service’s staffing restructure.
• Calculating, understanding and articulating all financial implications resulting from the change project.
• Work with services areas to gain information needed. Excellent communication skills needed
  
  

It’s difficult to predict how quickly this piece of work will take to complete, but there are some other similar cross-cutting project occurring in the organisation that require financial support which could be bolted onto the assignment if the candidate was performing to the level we expected.

Ideally we are looking for someone with sufficient local government experience to hit the ground running.
